Pure Staff’s Driving Team are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of our long-standing customers based in Hereford
. This is genuine ongoing work with one of the UK’s largest privately owned logistics businesses, offering flexible working patterns, excellent rates of pay and immediate starts.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday (Days) – £18.50ph (+ holiday accrued)
or £20.73ph (Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)

Monday to Friday (Nights) – £21.50ph (+ holiday accrued)
or £24.10ph (Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)

Weekend (Days) – £21.50ph (+ holiday accrued)
or £24.10ph (Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)

Weekend (Nights) – £24.00ph (+ holiday accrued)
or £26.90ph (Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)

The Role

As a HGV Class 1 Driver in Hereford
, you’ll be transporting palletised goods using modern articulated vehicles for one of the UK’s leading logistics and distribution companies.

Typical work includes:

• 1 to 3 deliveries or collections per shift
• Average shift lengths of 8-10 hours (occasional 12-hour shifts)
• Modern, well-maintained fleet
• Consistent ongoing work with regular bookings for reliable drivers
• Excellent opportunity to secure ongoing consistent and reliable work, or even a permanent position for the right candidates

What You’ll Need

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver in Hereford
, you’ll need:

• UK Category C+E Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 month’s HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach
• Good understanding of Driver Hours, Working Time Regulations and vehicle safety checks
• Previous palletised distribution or general haulage experience is beneficial but not essential
