What You’ll Be DoingAs a Workshop Support Operative, you’ll be at the center of workshop activity:
- Keeping the workshop clean, tidy, and safe at all times
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is correctly sorted and disposed of
- Wrapping completed timber‑frame panels ready for storage and delivery
- Preparing and organizing materials for the production team
- Moving materials and products safely around the workshop
- Supporting stock control and keeping storage areas organized
- Assisting the production team with general workshop duties
- Following all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements
- A positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and comfort with manual handling tasks
- Previous workshop, warehouse, or manufacturing experience (not essential)
- Organised and proactive
- Takes pride in a clean and well‑maintained workspace
- Flexible and happy to support wherever needed
- Committed to working safely at all times
