The main purpose of the Business Controller is to act as a global, cross-technology business partner to the Industry Segment leadership team. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting both operational and strategic decision-making by delivering accurate analyses and recommending actions to improve performance. Acting as a proactive sparring partner, you will drive initiatives that contribute to the growth and long-term success of the Segment Industry.

• Analyze operational results on deviations from budget/previous year and monitor financial performance of the Segment. Suggest corrective actions, track implementation plans and measure improvements.
• Establish periodical reports and prepare business and budget review meetings for the Segment.
• Drive financial business planning, budgeting and forecast process in the Segment.
• Provide business analysis, cost calculations, inventory turn and other ad hoc analysis.
• Prepare investment decisions, manage the Capex approval process and execute according to the Delegation of Authority (DoA).
• Collaborate closely with the Segment, Corporate Controlling and Company Controlling.
• Run production controlling activities for the Radio‑Frequency Technology for the production site Herisau, including the definition of cost standard accounting.
• Support the business units, market‑ and sales teams in financial decision making.
• Serve as a member of the Industry Segment management team and closely collaborate with Segment COO and Group CFO.

• Higher education (Master, University) in Business or Finance Management.
• >5 years of proven Controlling experience in an international industrial group.
• Prior leadership experience is a plus.
• High IT affinity, mainly SAP S/4 (FI, CO, MM, PP), Power
  
  BI, Office applications.
• Professional proficiency in German and English.
• Intercultural competence, positive mindset and hands‑on attitude.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills combined with excellent communication across all organizational levels.
• Ability to navigate a complex, multi‑technology, multi‑country organization and challenge stakeholders constructively.
• Willingness to actively shape business development together with the Segment management team.
