The Pillars of Hermantown is Ebenezer's newest managed senior living community in northern Minnesota near Duluth and offers Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care options with 105 total apartments.

The Pillars creates purposeful lifestyles for our seniors with dedicated staff to meet their needs in a variety of ways. We are looking for a Registered Nurse - RN to join our nursing team in ensuring that the safety and health needs of the senior assisted living/memory care residents are met at our Hermantown, MN location. Supported by a Director of Health Services Nurse, Executive Director, Triage RN, Resident assistants/Medication Passers, culinary, housekeeping, social work, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Implements new and updates current resident care plan
  • Coordinates resident health services with internal/external providers and obtaining orders as needed
  • Handles and supervises timely and accurate medication and treatment administration
  • Acts as support to Director of Health Services to fill in as RN on call during scheduled times
  • Monitors work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff
Schedule
  • 86 hours every two weeks
  • Day shift
  • Every third weekend rotation
Required
  • Current MN RN license or by start date
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
Preferred
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Windows and electronic charting systems
  • Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
  • Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
