Culinary Assistant

We are looking for aServer/Culinary Assistant. This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Assisted Living Community in Hermantown near Duluth, MN.

This full-time food services schedule includes;

• 80 hours per pay period
• Day/early evening shifts. Includes working every other weekend

• Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction with their meal service
• Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
• Assists with meal prep and special events
• Provides kitchen support when needed with dishwashing and cleaning of floors
• Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately

Required:

• Excellent customer service skills and aptitude, teamwork and positive attitude required
• Desire to work with seniors
• Ability to interact empathetically and communicate effectively with residents and staff
• Prefer some work experience in a customer service setting, but not required

• Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $16.00 to $22.00. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.
