We’re partnering with a long-standing geotechnical drilling and construction materials testing company that is hiring an experienced Geotechnical Driller / Drill Rig Operator.

This is a strong fit for someone with hands‑on drilling experience who is comfortable working outdoors, operating drilling equipment, traveling to job sites, and putting in steady overtime. The right person understands geotechnical drilling, soil sampling, field documentation, equipment operation, safety, and regional travel
.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate geotechnical drilling equipment safely on project sites
• Support geotechnical and environmental investigations
• Collect soil, rock, and field samples
• Perform field testing and maintain accurate jobsite documentation
• Transport, inspect, clean, and maintain drilling equipment
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field crews
• Follow DOT, safety, and jobsite requirements
• Lead or support crew members in the field
• Travel to project sites throughout the region
• Represent the company professionally with clients, contractors, and project teams

What They’re Looking For

• Geotechnical drilling experience highly preferred
• Experience operating drilling equipment in outdoor field environments
• DOT Medical Card preferred
• CDL preferred, or ability to obtain within 1 year
• MSHA certification is a plus
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs.
• Comfortable working on uneven terrain and in changing weather conditions
• Willingness to work 50-60 hours most weeks
• Ability to travel to job sites throughout the region
• Strong safety mindset and dependable work ethic
• Valid driver’s license
