Overview

Clinical Supervisor - EASA role at Community Counseling Solutions (CCS).

Location:

Hermiston Outpatient. Supervisors:
Intensive Services Program Manager. FLSA Status:
Exempt (40 hours a week expectation). Pay Grade: B12 ($73,900 - $111,600 annually, depending on experience).

CCS provides a team-based Servant Leadership environment. Located in Eastern Oregon with year-round recreation near the Columbia River and at the base of the Blue Mountains. Big city amenities in rural, family-oriented communities.

Summary:
This position is responsible for the clinical supervision and professional development of staff in the EASA Program. Also responsible for training, documentation, fidelity reviews, and assistance with other CCS EASA programs in Oregon.

Essential job duties and responsibilities
  • Must ensure compliance with federal, state, and interagency regulations.
  • Model and enforce CCS policies and procedures in a fair manner.
  • Model the culture of excellent customer service as aligned with CCS Mission Statement and Core Values.
  • Provide leadership and development of evidence-based services for adolescent and young adults with psychotic mental illness and youth with co-occurring disorders.
  • Provide leadership and oversight on outcome and program performance measures.
  • Supervise clinicians, QMHAs, Peer Support Specialists and other EASA staff on duty.
  • Perform screenings and assessments of all EASA clients and potential clients.
  • Assist EASA staff with professional development planning, provide timely feedback, and conduct performance evaluations as scheduled.
  • Meet with EASA staff at least 2 hours per month, including one hour of individual supervision documented in Credible.
  • Observe and/or conduct treatment (individual and group) and provide constructive feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Write comprehensive monthly reports including file review, face-to-face time with each EASA team member, and treatment observed; note trainings attended by staff.
  • Foster effective teamwork and communication among all members.
  • May perform other duties and special assignments, including training CCS staff in outlying counties and states.
  • Update and maintain company/state databases and submit accurate reports for billing and tracking.
  • Ensure EASA program fidelity requirements are met and assist with fidelity reviews as they occur.
  • Provide regular community education to build relationships and referral pathways.
Qualifications

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Communication skills (oral and written) and customer service oriented.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based practices (group and individual counseling, treatment planning, assessments, referrals).
  • Experience with electronic medical records and telemedicine is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of cultural and family issues relevant to CCS care.
  • Bilingual/multilingual a plus.
  • Computer, copier, fax, and scanner proficiency.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mental health, behavioral, and/or substance use counseling.
  • Knowledge of regulations and laws governing mental health, ethics, confidentiality, and privacy.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
  • Clinical supervisors in mental health programs must meet QMHP requirements and have two years of post-graduate clinical experience; 2-3 years of clinical supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must meet QMHP certification requirements through MHACBO or equivalent state board; ISSR requirements.
  • Must pass a drug test and criminal background check.
