The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant assumes clinical responsibility in an assigned facility. This is a professional position with the primary responsibility of direct patient care under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. Additional duties of an administrative nature are to be performed as assigned.
You Will- Under the supervision of a Occupational Therapist, is at all times responsible to follow all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care
- Follow the treatment set only as defined by the Occupational Therapist; to perform only those procedures that the COTA is qualified and trained to perform
- Make all recommendations for changes in the plan of care to the supervising Occupational Therapist

- Associate’s Degree from an accredited program.
- Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification/License.
- Adaptability, compassion, detail oriented, friendly & courteous.
- A moderate degree of physical strength is needed because of the exertion required to assist patients.
- Ability to kneel, stoop and stand for long periods of time with or without accommodation.
