You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Key Job Responsibilities- Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
- Carry a pager/cell phone for communication, information, emergency, and on-call situations.
- Up to 20% travel within geographical work area required; some travel outside traditional work area may be requested, including internationally.
- Install, test and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Linux/Unix Administration.
Logical access to the AWS Gov Cloud region will be restricted to Amazon employees who are U.S. Citizens. (Gov Cloud may NOT be accessed from outside of the United States)
Physical Requirements- Ability to sit in front of computer for entire scheduled 8‑hour shift with appropriate breaks while maintaining a high level of alertness and attention to detail.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41 pounds or more.
- Walk job sites in uneven terrain.
- Work at heights and from ladders.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Experience working in a colocation data center facility.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
