IT Project Manager, Systems Engineer

Keyjob responsibilities
- Routinely review ticket queue for large events and address accordingly
- Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators, project management, coaching and creating documentation
- Coordinate team resources to support project and delivery needs, to include emergency projects, change management and maintenance window support, and potential off‑hours and on‑call needs
- Host weekly staff meetings
- Guide, train and educate data staff on the best practices related to all service owner issues
- Manage a diverse team of technicians with varying skillset to complete tasks and deliverables across small to large‑size projects
- Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAs
- Maintain the on‑call schedule coordinating absence and vacations
- Recruit and train decom technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels
- Write and deliver performance reviews for leadership staff
- Drive compliance to Amazon performance management requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience
- 2+ years of team leadership experience
- 1+ years of data center experience
- Experience analyzing metrics to drive business improvements
- Experience representing your team or technical area to senior management
- Experience organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments
- Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers
