As a Team Leader, you will lead a customer-centric team, manage a single tax office, and help grow our seasonal tax business. Your role includes developing associates, ensuring excellent client service, and meeting growth objectives. We support your professional development as you serve as a knowledgeable resource on tax topics.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Multi-unit management experience in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries
• 2+ years as a Tax Professional

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with the District General Manager to create growth plans and develop local partnerships
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates
• Handle escalated client service issues
• Ensure proper scheduling and conflict resolution
• Lead daily activities, ensure quality, and meet deadlines
• Train and coach associates, lead team meetings, and manage schedules
• Prepare tax returns as needed
• Conduct performance reviews and resolve employee issues

Required skills and experience:

• Customer service or supervisory experience
• Experience managing people
• Successful completion of H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to work independently and flexibly
• High school diploma or higher
