Co-Product Technician - Graveyard
Location: Hermiston, OR
OverviewLamb Weston is a leading manufacturer in food services worldwide. The Co-Product Technician role will safely operate equipment in processing and packaging areas, monitor product quality and line flow rates, identify and solve problems to improve safety, quality and production costs, and be able to change between qualified jobs to meet plant needs.
Responsibilities- Operate cohesively with all Co-Product team members in the management of processing and packaging areas.
- Perform all Daily Management System standards, including CILs, FSILs, CLs, and defect handling.
- Conduct procedures and checks as requested by Production Lead, Team Leaders, and Line Structure Team.
- Own daily sanitation of the line, including break sanitation, general housekeeping, and maintaining a food-safe environment.
- Perform End of Cycle sanitation for processing and packaging.
- Utilize root cause analysis using IPS and UPS tools and participate in these events.
- Engage in scheduled pillar activities to drive out top losses and meet plant goals.
- Conduct peer-to-peer handoff with top losses and unresolved issues to ensure success of the line.
- Participate in Lamb Weston Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice programs.
- 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing or a related field.
- Basic English communication, comprehension, and instruction following skills.
- Qualification in L2/3 Formed Product, L2/3 Co-Product Packaging, and sanitation (training provided).
- Qualification in lock-out/tag-out on L2/3 equipment (training provided).
- Team player with strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Basic PC proficiency – Windows, Word, Excel.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, turn frequently.
- Operate in noisy, hot/cold environments.
- Perform repetitive arm, wrist, hand movements.
- Work with hands and arms overhead; operate equipment.
- Maintain vision requirements, perform essential functions with accommodations if needed.

Compensation: Reasonable hourly estimate $25.72. Actual compensation may vary.
