The processing utility operator will safely and efficiently operate and adjust equipment for multiple processes, monitor line flow and waste, correct problems that affect quality and production costs, and make line changes as directed by supervisory staff. Operators must be willing to seamlessly change positions between qualified jobs to meet plant needs on their shift and may bid into other positions based on plant demand.

• Commit to a minimum one-year tenure in each qualified position.
• Be trained/qualified in four (4) positions across the Fryer Operator, Process Operator, and related groups (e.g., L5 Fryer Operator, L5 Process Op, L5 Cutter Deck Op, L5 Batter Operator, Receiving Operator, L5 ADR).
• Set up and maintain equipment, perform routine checks (CILs and FSILs), and document adjustments.
• Participate in safety programs, maintain 5S practices, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Communicate effectively with hourly associates and salaried personnel; read and write in English.
• Work any shift, overtime, and any day of the week as required by plant needs.
• Use hands, fingers, and arms to handle tools and controls; lift up to 100 pounds unassisted and a 50-pound ladder.

• High school diploma or GED preferred; high school certificate acceptable.
• Knowledge of equipment limits and troubleshooting; ability to avoid deviations.
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rates and percentages.
• Reasoning ability: apply common sense, deal with problems involving multiple variables.
• Physical demands: standing, climbing, balancing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling.
• Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
