Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position requiring an active OR license and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

• Work in the Med/Surg department of a modern rural hospital in Northeast Oregon
• Care provided to both adult and pediatric patients
• Day shift schedule, 07:00-19:30, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Required to work every other weekend
• Will work alongside two to three other nurses and a full-time Hospitalist physician
• Agency nurses may be floated to other departments as needed
• Orientation provided at a new, modern facility
• Collaborative team environment with core nursing staff and physician support
• First-time travelers will be considered
• No specific radius rule for local candidates

• Active OR RN license
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience required
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
