Job Summary
This role provides compassionate, patient-centered care as a Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Provider within a hematology/oncology setting. Under physician guidance, this position delivers direct clinical support, manages a variety of hematology cases, and assists with infusion protocols. The provider plays a key role in coordinating individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy and immunotherapyto support improved outcomes and quality of life.
Essential Job FunctionsConduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and diagnostic test orders.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Collaborate with oncologists to develop and implement treatment plans.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and expectations.
Manage straightforward hematology cases and support infusion protocols.
Diagn, test, and treat patients within the providers scope of practice.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Current, unrestricted NP or PA license (or eligibility to obtain).
DEA license (or eligibility to obtain).
Minimum of two years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
Ability to pass all applicable pre-employment screenings, including federally compliant drug testing.
Previous experience in Hematology/Oncology.
