Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS, and at least three years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg department at a modern facility in rural Northeast Oregon

• Care for both adult and pediatric patients

• Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week including every other weekend

• Collaborate with two or three other nurses and a full-time Hospitalist physician

• 13-week contract assignment

• Responsible for providing care to a mixed adult and pediatric patient population

• Work with a supportive team structure including experienced nursing staff and a Hospitalist physician

• Role is in a newly built, contemporary hospital setting

• Scheduled to work every other weekend

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required

• Minimum of three years of nursing experience

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
