Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position handling both adult and pediatric patients in rural Northeast Oregon with day shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg department of a modern rural hospital

• Care provided for both adult and pediatric patient populations

• Day shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week

• Scheduled every other weekend

• Team environment with two to three other nurses and a full-time Hospitalist physician

• Agency nurses may be floated to other qualified departments prior to core staff

• Position is based in a newly built, modern healthcare facility

• Supportive interdisciplinary team with physician onsite coverage

• Open to both local and travel candidates

• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required

• Minimum of three years nursing experience required

• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
