RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 8.5-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Perform nursing activities in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of surgical care

• On-call rotation required

• Act as patient advocate and supervise assigned personnel

• Utilize nursing process and established standards of care, policies, and procedures

• Report to Unit Nurse Manager, House Supervisor, or RN Team Leader

• May be floated to other departments where qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated

• Ensure provision of quality care for surgical patients

• Specialize in perioperative nursing practice
