Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for a day shift Operating Room position requiring a minimum of three years' perioperative nursing experience.

• Position is based in the Operating Room as a circulating nurse
• Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 15:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• On-call rotation is required
• May be floated to other departments where qualified to provide patient care
• Responsible for all aspects of perioperative nursing in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
• Acts as patient advocate and supervises assigned personnel
• Reports to Unit Nurse Manager, House Supervisor, or RN Team Leader
• Adheres to established standards of care, policies, and procedures
• No specific COVID-19 vaccination requirement for this position

• Active RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 3 years recent perioperative nursing experience
• Experience as a circulator in the OR setting required
