Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for a day shift Operating Room position with on-call rotation and floating requirements.
Responsibilities- Position is based in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 11:00 to 19:30
- Involvement across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
- Includes on-call rotation
- Float to other departments where qualified before core staff is floated
- Provide comprehensive perioperative care and act as patient advocate
- Responsible for supervising any assigned personnel in the OR
- Report to the Unit Nurse Manager, House Supervisor, or RN Team Leader
- Local candidates are accepted as there is no radius rule specified
- Active RN license required
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in perioperative/OR nursing
- Must be proficient in circulating for surgical procedures
