Food Service Worker; Part Time

Overview

We are hiring immediately for part-time Food Service Worker positions.

Location:

Hermiston School District – 305 South West 11th Street, Hermiston, OR 97838.

Schedule:

Part-time, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, days may vary. More details upon interview.

Pay Range: $15.05 per hour to $15.50 per hour. Perks include paid holidays, sick leave, uniform allowance, and earned shift meals. Internal Employee Referral Bonus available.

• Prepare, present and serve food as needed.
• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Adhere to all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
