Base pay range

Responsibilities- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress and information; determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans;
using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices. - Performs inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs following company guidelines under the direct supervision of a qualified shop technician on Walmart equipment (e.g., trailers); creates and processes work orders; assesses maintenance and repair needs; identifies needed parts and possible solutions; selects the best solution; conducts maintenance and repairs (e.g., dismounting/installing tires on wheels, repairing flats, balancing tires, adjusting landing gear, replacing lights, trailer door repairs);
follows company and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and requirements; seeks approval for maintenance and repairs performed by qualified shop technicians; communicates with customers, suppliers, and associates verbally and in writing; and completes work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures. - Receive fuel drops and conduct fuel sampling by monitoring the drop to ensure safety compliance; follow procedures for fuel additives; monitor tank levels before and after the drop; collect and prepare fuel samples for analysis and shipping; complete appropriate paperwork.

The hourly wage range for this position is $28.25 - $31.75. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage; additional compensation in certain circumstances may include premiums up to $3.00 per hour. Premiums may depend on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
