Base Pay Range

$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Position Summary

You will lead and develop teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. Tourto Teach communication and collaboration with all levels of associates regarding store operations utilizing technology business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. You will introduce and lead company change efforts, provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs and store events, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved.
  • Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process improvement leadership for a high quality customer experience.
  • Drive financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation and inventory flow.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, and recognizing associates.
  • Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and building accountability for measured results.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support company mission values, and maintain open communication for continuous learning.
  • Promote a culture of belonging, respect differences, and empower and develop talent within the team.
  • Act with integrity, maintain the highest standards of ethics, and support the Walmart goal of becoming a regenerative company.
  • Serve customers and members by delivering results while putting the customer first and making decisions based on data.
  • Strive for excellence by embracing continuous improvement, adopting new technologies, and encouraging learning from mistakes.
Compensation

Hourly wage range: $31.25 - $38.46. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional elements may include:

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location.
  • State Pay Differential where applicable.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • For facilities that sell firearms: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition with state‑specific requirements: a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Requirement to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
