The Customer Account Manager (Sales Account Manager) handles all inside sales functions, including inbound/outbound telephone calls, processing of sales documents, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Preferred Experience- Prior automotive parts knowledge and previous sales experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and telephone skills.
- Ability to communicate on the phone 90% or more of shift.
- Understanding of customer’s current needs and ability to anticipate future requirements.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Extensive computer use; experience with Microsoft Windows preferred.

- Handles high volume of telephone calls, taking orders and closing sales.
- Sources new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow‑up and outbound cold calls.
- Processes all calls with efficiency and accuracy, keeps digital notes, verifies orders before entry.
- Ensures accounts are serviced per company standards.
- Recognizes customer buying patterns and promotes new product lines.
- Maintains regular contact with key accounts and prospects to build sales.
- Investigates and resolves customer issues professionally.
- Meets or exceeds sales goals.
- Stays current on product knowledge and trends.
- Travel may be required as directed by supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
