Maintenance Technician at Mirasol Family Health Center in Hermiston, OR (clinic-specific highlights apply) - Salary: $22.51-$27.57 DOE; higher for highly experienced candidates

- Performs HVAC troubleshooting and general maintenance on HVAC systems (replace filters, belts, pulleys, etc.).
- Performs general maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, light electrical, light cement masonry) in accordance with safety standards.
- Landscape and maintain grounds and common areas; assist with weather-related maintenance including snow/ice removal.
- Dispose of medical waste (hazardous, regulated, and infectious).
- Assist in construction projects, furniture moves, coordinating contractor access, and other duties.
- Manage building security and access control systems as directed.
- Oversee maintenance provided by vendors (HVAC, security, electrical, fire alarm, roofing, medical gas, landscaping).
- Maintain company vehicles to standards.
- Document safety inspections and complete safety tasks per corporate standards.
- Ensure designated areas are cleaned and maintained per guidelines; perform daily janitorial duties as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of building maintenance experience
- First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
- Forklift operator’s license if working in Procurement
- Valid Driver’s License and automobile liability insurance
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills; ability to work independently and with diverse teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; knowledge of cleaning chemicals and general maintenance trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
- Ability to read and understand construction documents (As-Build and O&M manuals)
- Pre-employment physical assessment required
