RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on the 1st floor Observation Unit with 25 beds

• Patient ratios: 4:1 days / 5:1 nights

• Full-time schedule: 36 hours per week with every 3rd weekend

• Work with Alaris Pumps, tele-tracking, Imobile Communication, B450 Monitors, and Pyxis equipment

• Documentation in Meditech system

• Subject to floating on a rotating system to meet hospital needs

• Triage acute care patients and identify life-threatening rhythms

• Perform glucose monitoring, Foley insertion, dressing changes, EKGs, and peritoneal dialysis

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and EKG rhythm certification

• Preferred experience with neuro and cardiac patients

• Dress code:
Black scrubs for RNs with closed-toed shoes (no crocs)

• Work in a fast-paced, energetic, and friendly environment

• Unit features brand new equipment and technology specifically designed for observation patients
