Summit is the busiest level 3 trauma hospital in Tennessee. In this position you will be working in a 33 bed Acute Care/Peds Unit that has the capability of caring for pediatric patients. Although, this volume of patients is small. (approximately 5-7 patients annually) We primarily care for adult patients with chronic and acute illness with a heavy focus in Renal and Respiratory disease.

This unit works closely with other department leaders and has the ability to help you gain nursing experience while working towards specialties in Progressive Care, Emergency Department, and Critical Care.
