Tax Associate – H&R Block – Memphis, TN
Salary: $102,000 - $132,600 (full‑time)

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and using virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email)
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration
• Grow your tax expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment
• Ability to work a minimum of 25‑35 hours weekly during tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or an equivalent Income Tax Course
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfort with virtual tools (video, phone, chat)
• Effective communication in person, by phone, and in writing
• Ability to meet all IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher
