Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Senior Civil Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team in providing planning, design, and technical assistance across water and transportation projects. The position is hybrid and located in Hernando, MS, Oxford, MS, or Memphis, TN.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform engineering analysis and design for projects including roadways, water systems, hydraulic modeling, and water/wastewater treatment.
• Lead a team of junior engineers.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Assess existing systems and develop remedial measures.
• Conduct construction phase engineering and on-site reviews.
• Maintain communication with clients and team members.
• Prepare engineering studies and reports.
• Provide technical guidance and training.
• Ensure adherence to codes and quality standards.

Requirements:

• PE licensure or ability to obtain in other states within 90 days.
• 8+ years of related engineering experience.
• Certifications applicable to civil engineering.
• Proficiency in Micro Station, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Geopak, and Open Roads.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
