This position has responsibility and authority to perform all machinist functions, manufacturing production and/or prototype devices, articles, or customer products using manual and/or CNC/NC machine tools—Swiss, mill, lathe, and EDM—applying industry‑standard machine tool techniques to ensure that customer product requirements and Tegra Medical requirements are met while complying with the quality policy and quality objectives of Tegra Medical ISO 13485 quality management system.

The role also supports the roll of Machine Operator.

• Perform all Machine Operator functions.
• Perform job assignments on manual and/or CNC/NC machines.
• Assist Machine Operators as needed by performing set‑ups, offsets, and tool changes on both assigned and operator‑run machines to ensure product dimensions remain within tolerance.
• Responsible for production of quality products, including inspection, measurement, test, and de‑burr of manufactured components/assemblies as instructed.
• Follow Quality Policy, all quality system requirements and procedures, and work instructions as well as any additional customer requirements.
• Ensure quality objectives are met for his/her work assignment area.
• Follow company safety and environmental procedures/practices.
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
• May perform and/or assist in scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Perform other tasks and follow written or verbal direction from supervisor or manager.

• Minimum of 2–5 years of machinist experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude toward teamwork and learning.

• Frequent repetitive work.
• Occasional lifting (max. 40 lbs.).
• Occasional carrying (max. 40 lbs.).
• Subject to physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.
• Must wear safety glasses at all times.
• Must wear full PPE at all times.
• Frequent standing.
• Occasional sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching.
