Warehouse Picker/Packer 3rd Shift 8pm – Associated Wholesale Grocers

Position Summary:

Select outbound grocery orders utilizing a pick by light system to fill totes. Also will fill totes with inbound products received.

3rd Shift 8pm start time. Required to work Saturday-Sunday. Scheduled off days will be determined. Flexible schedules are subject to change. Starting pay: $19.20 per hour.

• Safe operation of equipment within the work area.
• Accurately select the quantity needed and pack product into totes; repeat as directed.
• Must be able to work within a team concept.
• Perform other duties as requested by the warehouse supervisor.
• Perform all duties safely and with respect for equipment and other associates.
• Perform all housekeeping duties required to maintain a clean and safe workplace.

• Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Understand basic mathematics such as number sequencing and counting, multiplication, and division.
• Physical requirements:
  
  Bend, squat, kneel, reach; occasionally lift up to 25 lbs and push/pull 40 lbs; stand for two-hour intervals; climb stairs; have good or corrected vision.
• Safety-sensitive duties requiring standing, walking, handling objects, reaching with hands and arms, climbing, crouching, and verbal communication. May involve tasting or smelling occasionally and lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to climb stairs to a height of 80 feet.
