Senior Accounts Payable Specialist – Herndon, VA

The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and based in our Herndon, VA Headquarters. This is a hybrid onsite position with a largely co‑located team that fosters in‑person collaboration, working in the office 3 days per week, Tuesday through Thursday. There is no travel associated with this role.

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from receipt of invoices to payment, including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval, and ensuring invoices agree with contracts.
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Manage utility bills and enroll new accounts for direct debit.
• Handle check run payments including mailing of checks.
• Review and approve new vendor information data and validate updated bank accounts for existing vendors.
• Execute additional projects and assignments as requested or required by department/business needs.

• 5+ years of direct full‑cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience working in a multi‑entity, multi‑currency global business environment, with outsourced accounts payable teams.
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and manage a large range of responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success in a fast‑paced environment; ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Coupa or a similar procurement management platform, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable invoice and cash disbursement workflows, and monthly Accounts Payable close and reconciliation processes.
• Direct experience leveraging Coupa to support accounts payable directives is required.
• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience in Data Center, Construction or Real Estate environments is strongly encouraged.

US Salary Range: $70,000 USD - $80,000 USD
