Our client is an established public accounting firm servicing clients in the DC Metro Area. Our client is seeking assistance due to the heavy workload during busy season. Supportive management welcomes suggestions.

Monday–Friday, flexible weekday hours; no weekend work required. Estimate 20–30 hours a week, potentially up to 40 hours if needed.

• Primarily reviewing Form 1040 individual returns; optional exposure to Fiduciary (1041) and Business returns (1120S, 1065, 1120) if preferred.
• Review work, spotting opportunities/changes that benefit clients, and ensuring accuracy and consistency. Must not miss an opportunity to improve the outcome.
• Assist partner with tax return reviews.
• Primarily doing reviews of mid‑to‑high income returns.
• Minimal client communication (maybe occasional email).
• Perform thorough reviews to alleviate some of the partner’s workload.
• Work complexity requires being a CPA or enrolled agent.

• CPA or enrolled agent required.
• 5+ years of busy season experience, with several years in a review role.
• High-level reviewer for tax returns with extensive experience beyond basic 1040s.
