Facility Associate T2
Employer: Johnson Technology Systems Inc (JTSi)
Location: Herndon, VA
Citizenship: US only
Job Description: 40 hour in office position, 3‑month duration (possible extension), candidates within 30‑mile radius preferred.
Description Of Project And Tasks- Must be a US Citizen and only hold US citizenship (no dual citizens)
- Duration is set for 3 months at this time but could extend further if needed.
- This will be a 40 hour in office (Herndon) position; candidates within 30-mile radius is preferred.
- Assist Sr. Facilities Manager with administrative support
- Provide front reception desk support for guests, visitors and employees
- Assist in oversight and coordination of janitorial, food service, coffee services, badging, fitness center waivers
- Management of stocking of pantry/office supplies
- Coordination of incoming/outgoing mail
- Issue office announcements via electronic distribution lists
- Assist with dispatching of maintenance service requests to Landlord
- Organize and maintain filing system for all reports, vendor invoices, proposals, etc.
- Maintain current list of vendor contacts, emergency contact info, property information
- Coordination of catering/lunch program scheduling
- Provide support for meetings and conference room reservations, as needed and directed
- Any and all other duties and tasks as assigned
- Bachelor degree and/or adequate experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Security clearance is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Team player attitude; positive, outgoing, customer service orientation is a must
- Highly organized, efficient, and extremely detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize work among multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment, while interacting with varying seniority levels
- Demonstrated strength in oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact and communicate with professional courtesy and tact among vendors, employees, guests at all levels of our organization
- Self‑motivated and capacity to take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Facilities & Office Administration Support – Experience supporting facilities operations, office services, and administrative functions
- Front Desk / Customer Service – Professional reception experience interacting with employees, visitors, and vendors
- Vendor & Service Coordination – Managing janitorial, food service, maintenance, mail, and other office services
- Microsoft Office Proficiency – Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Organization & Multitasking – Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented office environment
- Facilities or Corporate Office Experience – Prior work in a corporate or secured office setting
- Vendor Invoicing & Filing Systems – Experience organizing invoices, contracts, and reports
- Meeting & Event Coordination – Scheduling conference rooms, catering, and lunch programs
- Security Clearance or Secure Environment Exposure – Clearance preferred or experience working in restricted environments
