GDIT is seeking a Business Development Senior Director for the National Intelligence Sector (NIS) to lead the identification, qualification, and pursuit of new business opportunities within the Intelligence Community. The qualified candidate will drive business development and growth strategy and actions in support of the NIS business team.
Responsibilities- Lead identification, qualification, and pursuit of new business opportunities and recompete efforts.
- Develop customer‑focused campaigns, create and execute customer and partner engagement plans, and provide thought leadership in the marketplace.
- Formulate, communicate, and implement an integrated business development and capture strategy that provides customers with a defensible justification for selecting GDIT for the award.
- Analyze markets and recommend strategies to achieve marketing and business development goals.
- Support the Growth team in managing and tracking status of NDAs/TAs, subcontract relationships, end‑to‑end growth team activities, and opportunities for strategic captures within the NIS Sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 15+ years of related experience with 7+ years of business development–related experience in the Intelligence Community markets.
- Skills: Highly collaborative leader, proven track record advancing new business development strategies, strong communication and presentation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to build relationships and lead through influence at all levels.
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph required.
- US Citizenship: Yes.
Hybrid – Primary office located in Herndon, VA. Local travel to customer and industry locations is expected; less than 10% travel required.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $215,467 – $287,500 (not guaranteed). Benefits include 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, paid time off, full‑flex work week, and comprehensive rewards.
