Travel Coordinator

2 or 3 day on-site in Reston, VA

Responsibilities
  • Travel Arrangements:
    Organize and manage all aspects of travel, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation for individuals or groups.
  • Itinerary Planning:
    Create detailed itineraries that meet the specific needs and preferences of travelers, ensuring a cohesive travel experience.
  • Vendor Negotiation:
    Negotiate contracts with travel service providers, such as airlines and hotels, to secure the best rates and amenities.
  • Budget Management:
    Develop and manage travel budgets, ensuring compliance with company policies and monitoring expenses.
  • Policy Implementation:
    Implement and oversee travel policies that align with organizational goals, ensuring adherence across departments.
  • Client Service:
    Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any travel-related issues that may arise.
  • Emergency Handling:
    Manage travel-related emergencies, such as flight cancellations or delays, providing timely solutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Research and Compliance:
    Stay informed about travel advisories, visa requirements, and health guidelines to ensure smooth travel experiences.
Required Skills And Qualifications
