Senior Transportation Construction Inspector

AMT Engineering is hiring Senior Transportation Construction Inspectors to support a variety of construction and maintenance tasks throughout the Northern Virginia region of Locally Administered Projects.

• Verification of all work performed being in accordance with plans and contractual specifications
• Measurement and verification of pay quantities, dimensions, and specifications
• Act as a liaison between LAP program administrators and the prime contractor
• Perform field inspection duties and maintain project records, including daily field reports and the project materials notebook; generate monthly estimates

• 5+ years of transportation construction experience, ideally within the State of Virginia
• Candidates are preferred to have all VDOT certifications
• Candidates holding partial VDOT certifications will be considered depending on previous project experience
• Valid driver’s license; ability to work nights, OT and/or weekends as needed; ability to work independently and in a team; subject to background check
