Requirement:
Must have demonstrated experience across hardware, software, and manufacturing environments, with a strong background supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing test development, and factory sustaining activities.

Responsibilities

New Product Introduction (NPI) Responsibilities Working with the hardware design engineering teams, define an efficient test strategy for boards, modules, and systems. This encompasses the definition of test hardware, test fixtures, and embedded test resources within the product to improve testability

Provide level of effort estimates to the NPI product manager to support scheduling of development and factory introduction activity

Develop manufacturing test software within a LabVIEW/Teststand/Python environment

Actively participate in the definition and evolution of the manufacturing test software environment

Factory Sustaining Responsibilities Support production activity within ST Engineering iDirect by helping to resolve production issues as they occur, with emphasis on understanding and resolving the root cause of the problemidentify opportunities for manufacturing test cost reduction, such as test yield improvements, and test time reductions, without impacting outgoing product quality

Work with our IT team to evaluate and improve our data collection, and test metric reporting capabilities

Represent Manufacturing test at Business Review meetings with teams at our manufacturing sites

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE:

5+ years of industry experience w/in manufacturing test engineering.

Requirement:
Must have demonstrated experience across hardware, software, and manufacturing environments, with a strong background supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing test development, and factory sustaining activities.

This position involves access to hardware, software, technology, technical data, and/or services that may be regulated under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. sanctions laws administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and other applicable export control, sanctions, and national security laws and regulations.
