We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our medical imaging team. As an Ultrasonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations and scans using ultrasound technology. Your expertise will contribute to accurate and timely diagnosis for our patients.
Duties- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients using sound waves to create images of internal organs and tissues
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain high‑quality images
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions
- Position patients correctly to ensure optimal imaging results
- Apply aseptic techniques and maintain a sterile environment during invasive procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze images and provide diagnostic information
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
- Certification in Sonography or related field
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including X‑Ray, Mammography, PET scan, and CT
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret images
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ultrasound Certification (Required)
- Experience in patient interaction

Herndon, VA 20170 – must relocate before starting work (In person)
Hours:
Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Expected hours: 40 per week
