The Maritime Sector is looking for a HR Business Partner to support multiple functional discipline teams and will provide support for a matrixed, geographically dispersed population across the U.S. In this role you will drive business results by understanding the client area’s strategic plans and initiatives to provide value added recommendations. You will partner with all levels of leadership from front-line supervisors to senior leaders, as well as the overall employee population.

This onsite role will report to the Functional HR Director. The selected candidate will be instrumental in ensuring effective workforce utilization to achieve organizational goals and will analyze workforce data to identify trends and forecast staffing needs. You will also ensure and provide guidance and support to management on employee relations issues and will develop and implement innovative strategies to attract top talent and retain high-performing employees.
Essential Functions:- Build and maintain effective working relations with management and employees to provide advice and counsel to both on employee-related and organizational matters.
- Identify and diagnose issues proactively and develop, recommend, and implement root cause solutions that enhance employee engagement/experience and business results in a timely manner.
- Partner with client groups to build and execute on talent actions to meet overall business strategy, objectives and goals.
- Analyze data and metrics to support recommendations to the leadership team for continuous improvement.
- Participate and/or lead projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
