Systems Analyst, Technical Support, IT QA Tester / Automation, IT Consultant
• Possesses general knowledge of QA systems and methodologies, use of debugging tools, knowledge of manual tests tools.
• Ability to write and implement test plans.
• Creates thorough technical/functional test plans/scripts and performs QA testing of end-user application development.
• Responsible for test case development, execution and management in support of the Singl.eView billing platform.
• Testing will include, but is not limited to, system testing for Product, Customer Care, Usage, Taxation, Integration, Billing and Invoice testing.
• Coordinate and work with IT Billing and other organizations for future product roll outs, enhancement and production issues found on an as needed basis.
• Job functions include:
Test planning and test case creation based upon new product, business and IT requirements. Execution of test cases. Raise defects.
• Test result validation and user sign off. Manage system testing status. Schedule and manage meetings with the business, IT Billing and other organizations as necessary.
QualificationsAdditional
Skills:
• 3-6 years of related experience in the following areas:
• Singl.eView testing and application knowledge is highly desirable
• Quality Assurance in the Telecom industry (minimum 3 years, billing is preferred)
• Strong technical skills, including UNIX, SQL, Oracle and shell scripting
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Project management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of other Telco Systems, such as Siebel, TBS and Portal, a plus
• Mentoring and Training experience
