Position

Responsibilities
  • Lead data science initiatives from problem definition through production deployment; drive business impact through advanced analytics and predictive modeling
  • Develop predictive models for forecasting, optimization, and risk assessment using statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Design and execute experiments (A/B testing, multivariate testing) to measure feature impact and validate model performance
  • Analyze complex business problems across project management, resource planning, financial forecasting, and operational efficiency domains
  • Develop advanced predictive analytics models for project cost overruns, resource optimization, cash flow prediction, and bid/win probability.
  • Communicate insights effectively to technical and non‑technical stakeholders including executives; create compelling visualizations and presentations
  • Mentor junior data scientists and analysts; establish best practices for statistical analysis, model development, and reproducible research
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure smooth transition of models from research to production; define monitoring metrics and success criteria
  • Stay current with industry trends in data science, ML, and AI; evaluate new techniques and tools for potential application
Qualifications
  • 5‑7 years of data science experience with demonstrated business impact through analytics and modeling in enterprise or SaaS environments
  • Statistical expertise
    :
    Strong foundation in statistics, probability, experimental design, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis
  • Machine learning
    :
    Proficiency in supervised/unsupervised learning, ensemble methods, time series forecasting, and model evaluation
  • Programming skills
    :
    Expert Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, stats models) and SQL; experience with R is a plus
  • Data visualization
    :
    Strong skills in creating insightful visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, or Plotly
  • Big data tools
    :
    Experience with Spark, distributed computing, or processing large‑scale datasets
  • Business acumen
    :
    Ability to translate business problems into analytical frameworks; track record of driving measurable business outcomes
  • Communication
    :
    Excellent presentation skills; ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences including senior leadership
  • Bonus
    :
    Domain expertise in professional services, project‑based businesses, government contracting, construction, or architecture/engineering
  • Education
    : MS/PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Operations Research, or quantitative field preferred; exceptional BS candidates considered
