PositionResponsibilities
- Design and implement data architecture for enterprise data platforms including data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures
- Build scalable data pipelines using modern ETL/ELT frameworks (Airflow, DBT, or similar); ensure data quality, reliability, and performance
- Implement CDC (Change Data Capture) and real-time streaming solutions using Kafka, Spark Streaming, or similar technologies
- Optimize data infrastructure for performance and cost; implement partitioning, compression, and caching strategies
- Establish data governance practices including data lineage, quality monitoring, schema management, and access controls
- Lead technical initiatives for data platform modernization; evaluate new technologies and tools for potential adoption
- Mentor junior data engineers
; conduct code reviews, establish best practices, and drive technical excellence across the team - Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that enable advanced analytics
- Support compliance requirements for data security, privacy, and regulatory needs (GDPR, SOC2, or industry-specific regulations)
- 5+ years of data engineering experience building large-scale data platforms on cloud infrastructure
- Cloud data platforms

Extensive experience with AWS (Redshift, Glue, EMR, S3), Azure (Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS), or GCP (Big Query, Dataflow, GCS);
Oracle Cloud experience is a plus - Data technologies

Expert SQL; proficiency in Python or Scala; experience with Spark for distributed data processing - Data pipeline tools

Hands-on experience with Airflow, DBT, Luigi, or similar orchestration frameworks - Streaming platforms

Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub for real-time data processing; understanding of event-driven architectures - Database expertise

Deep knowledge of relational databases (Postgre

The U.S. salary range for this position is $68,500.00 - $. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity. Benefits and perks listed here may vary depending on the nature of employment with Deltek.
