Senior Project Manager- HRIS

Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is searching for an HR IT Projects Manager for our client based in Herndon, VA. This is a 6-month contract position that offers the opportunity to work remotely on impactful technology initiatives within the organization.

• Lead HR IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Partner with business and technical teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate system implementations, upgrades, and integrations across multiple departments.
• Provide regular status reports and clear communication to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with HR IT policies, security standards, and operational best practices.
• Support post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing IT projects in a corporate environment.
• Strong experience managing HR systems projects (ADP, Success Factors, People Soft).
• Proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience working with vendors and cross‑functional technical teams.
