We’re seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Herndon, VA, Seattle, WA or Berwick, PA to oversee data center build projects. The role will lead cross‑functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through scope and schedule creation, budget management, completed design, implementation, commissioning, and data center deployment. Along the way, you will use your judgment, critical thinking skills, ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, eliminate non‑value‑add activities, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager who will own and deliver on end‑to‑end builds, working with stakeholder teams to map dependencies, create and drive schedules, and imagine solutions to the biggest challenges. This high‑judgment role will deliver capacity to our end customers.
About the TeamAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain—and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.
BasicQualifications
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (i.e., network, data center, hardware, software)
- Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery
- Experience in project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure
