Description:
We are seeking a motivated candidate in the Herndon, VA area. The candidate will support and coordinate data compliance activities. The Sponsor helps establish standards-based procedures and measures to ensure secure and legal compliance of all systems in accordance with applicable standards. This role requires understanding and applying data policy standards to system and data partners, and effective communication with stakeholders.
The Knowledge Manager shall:
- Work closely with team members across technology, program, training, oversight, and external mission partners.
- Be self-motivated and take the lead in engaging with technical systems.
- Assist the Sponsor in analyzing policy requirements and communicating these to stakeholders.
- Work with system partners to convey policy standards, address questions, and ensure compliance.
- Assist in evaluating data compliance, system resources, and data management policies.
- Demonstrate understanding of technical collection practices to inform policy and implementation.
- Meet regularly with the Sponsor to report progress and discuss solutions and priorities.
Required Qualifications:
- TS/SCI Polygraph
- Experience in analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Sponsor data policies
- Experience in drafting and coordinating policy guidance for data compliance
- Experience with highly visible programs
- Ability to work with varied partners and respond to policy, technical, or business questions
- Experience in developing or modifying data workflows and communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with the data management lifecycle
