Requirements
Must have:- Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
- Development experience with HPC frameworks for workloads in fields such as CAE, Weather Simulation, oil and gas, automotive/aerospace, financial services, or pharmaceuticals.
- Proven capability to understand HPC user requirements and align these with effective solutions.
- Experience in architecting an HPC platform with scheduling middleware (e.g., Slurm, Torque, Symphony, or Grid Server).
- Experience in the deployment, tuning, and management of HPC technologies in a multi-user environment.
- A strong understanding of the underlying infrastructure platform and resources to run HPC services.
- ficiency one or more of the following programming languages: C++, Python, CUDA, Bash. >
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or higher.
Deep knowledge of GPU in both HPC and AI/ML frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Design Customer Solutions:
Collaborate with broader AWS teams to assist customers and partners in architecting HPC solutions utilizing AWS services. Engage with Solution Architects, Account Managers, Professional Services, and partners to define an HPC Engagement strategy for AWS operational areas and key accounts, focusing on public sector National Super Computing Centers, government agencies, and/or AI/ML, CAE, Weather, and accelerated computing with GPU. - Thought Leadership:
Contribute insights on solutions that benefit customers through AWS services. This includes writing for external publications like the AWS Compute Blog, producing whitepapers and reference architectures, and providing internal training for Solutions Architects, Professional Services Consultants, Technical Account Managers, and AWS Trainers. - Be a vital member of the business development and account management team to ensure customer success in building and migrating applications, software, and services onto the AWS platform.
- Assist solution providers in defining and implementing their technical and business strategies.
- Capture and disseminate best-practice knowledge among the global AWS solution architect community.
- Understand AWS market segments and industry verticals, and leverage internal business support systems.

Additionally, our compensation reflects the labor costs in various US geographic markets. The base salary ranges from $138,200/year to $239,000/year, depending on location, expertise, and experience.
