About the RoleAs a Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) for the AWS Data Center Physical Security team, you will scope and deliver large programs end‑to‑end. Your responsibilities will include collecting business requirements, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, managing production launches, and coordinating design/implementation efforts across internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to develop optimal solutions for new features.
Key Responsibilities- Manage cross‑team and cross‑organization delivery of long‑term customer‑facing programs.
- Meet with internal and external customers to understand future requirements.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders in multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver on agreed milestones.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make trade‑offs between business needs and technical constraints.
- Plan and coordinate events, including facilitation and action‑item management.
- Lead data‑driven decision making through analysis of metrics and operational data, creating KPIs to demonstrate program value and effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
- 5+ years of project management experience, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical‑path management.
- Experience managing projects across cross‑functional teams and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience defining KPIs and SLAs to drive multi‑million‑dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
- 4+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation experience.
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
- Master’s degree or MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in the lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in the highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package. For more information, please visit
