Network Engineer T4 – Hybrid

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 7+ years of IT experience, with 4+ years in networking and telecom.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware components (routers, firewalls, VPN, etc.).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and related networking protocols.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with security measures, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
• SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS DESIRED:
• Proficient level UNIX computer skills;
  Basic Scripting:
  Perl, Python, Shell
• Proficient level Microsoft Windows administration skills
• Experience with public cloud environments such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Professional industry certifications in area of expertise.
• Traffic Engineering Mechanisms/Techniques and state-of-art applications; BGP, OSPF, Policy Based Routing, L2/L3 VPN, QoS, SSL VPNs, Client 802.1x
• Certification such as CCNP, CCDP, AWS, AZURE
• Expert with Cisco Line of Products, with focus on ISRs, 9300s
• Linux experience with the following platforms:
  Suse, Red Hat or CentOS
• Experience with tools like Solar Winds, Cisco Client/Client, MRTG, Net Flow, PuTTy, and Wireshark
• Familiarity with Next Generation firewalls, specifically Palo Alto and Cisco ASAs
• Experience with integration of SEIM tools
• Knowledge of Best Practice and security guides (ex. NIST 800-53 rev
