Front End Developer Security Clearance

Position: Front End Developer with Security Clearance
Gridiron IT is seeking a Front-End Developer to support a federal program in Springfield or Herndon, VA.

Job Description:

• Design and implement responsive, performant user interfaces for geospatial visualization and data-intensive applications

• Architect interactive mapping applications using modern geospatial visualization libraries

• Build reusable component libraries and design systems for complex data visualization and map-based interactions

• Optimize front-end performance for rendering large-scale vector and raster datasets in web browsers

• Collaborate with back-end engineers to design efficient APIs for geospatial data retrieval Requirements:
• TS/SCI with CI Poly required with current Customer eligibility and SBU/SECNet/COE accounts

• Must be willing to work in SCIF daily or as needed

• 5+ years of professional front-end software engineering experience

• 4+ years of advanced JavaScript/Type Script development with modern frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of geospatial web development with mapping libraries (Leaflet, Open Layers, Mapbox GL JS, or Cesium

JS)

• 3+ years understanding coordinate systems, projections, and spatial data formats (GeoJSON, KML, vector tiles)

• 3+ years experience with WMS/WMTS services and OGC-compliant APIs

• 3+ years of responsive web design and cross-browser development with expert CSS/SCSS

• 2+ years of data visualization with libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, or Plotly Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $200,000 - $220,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.) Benefits:
